The Forgotten Youth

WHERE DID IT GO?–
That balmy, bracing summer
Sitting there low in bliss-imbued bay’s harbor,
Frolicking over the flickering light of the setting sun,
Or lying listlessly in the flowered field near bay’s harbor,
Drifting in a drowsy doodle of the mind’s eyes
In the animated cumulus’ hive adrift in the bluely lit sky…
This setting summer’s drift soon stained with hazy hives,
As smoky nimbuses swiftly stampeded the blued sky,
Foreboding a chaotic tempestuous (coming of the) storm…
–Where did this sudden grey haze of chaos come from?
Now–I’ve contracted a terrible, chronic DISEASE:
I can only dream of peace!
–There is no godly ambrosia or magic panacea for cure–
The doc told me–that this is an incomprehensible
Unknown ailment!
–I asked God And He told me that–
–I and only I–could improve my condition
–Only I and I–
Alone
